Hello and welcome! I'm the person behind the writing of "Natural and Nurturing." For blogging purposes, I will go by "L." I am married to my wonderful husband (since 2009), "D," and we have a son named "J" who was born in 2012. Encouraging and promoting marriage as God designed it is a huge passion of mine. The three of us live in the great state of North Carolina, where I was born and raised.
As a family, our most important priority in life is living for the glory of God and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others. I am a full-time homemaker and am a huge advocate of stay-at-home motherhood. I love to encourage other women to embrace domesticity and raising a child as their full time job. I am also a huge advocate of breastfeeding (including full-term breastfeeding - breastfeeding toddlers and preschoolers), cloth diapering, babywearing, homeschooling, personal financial management/saving money, and natural approaches to health and wellness for the whole family.
